hello world, and welcome to my website! i go by many names, but here you can call me aim or radio! this is a personal website, but it's also a little bit a test, just to see what i can do with a semester of learning html and css, alongside a LOT of googling.
the nav table is a huge work-in-progress. it took me a while to figure out how to get it to stick without bootstrap, and i'm still not sold on it's ability to do everything i want it to do. but that's what figuring it out is all about!
in essence, this site is going to exist in a permanent state of "work-in-progress", but this page in particular will be very experimental. i work on it when i remember it and have the energy to slam my head against multiple walls, but i do one day want to get this site to a place where i'm so pleased with it i actually use it as my own personal site. i already have ideas of things i want to host here! (mostly art and writing... but if i ever start the comics that run abundant in my head there will SO be, at minimum, links to go read them here!)

the banner image is a very big wip... i sketched it out real fast just to have an idea of how big an image would need to be, and how to position it.
